TrekAmerica Mountain Trail July 2011
The Mountain
Trail is a two-week TrekAmerica group camping tour
from Seattle to Los Angeles, western USA, visiting numerous national parks
and other sights along the way.
Highlights included: seeing the sights of Yellowstone National Park,
whitewater rafting on the Snake river (photos of this were taken by Elevation
Imaging), an evening Hummer tour, a tour of Monument Valley with an
overnight stay in a Navajo hogan, and hiking to Angels Landing in Zion
National Park.
On our trip was: Arda, Ben, Clair, Da Som, Da Young, Eun, Hannah, Jo, Mi
Ra, Signe, Simon, Sinbi and myself. Our trek leader was Michael, who did an
outstanding job of managing the whole trip, which was from 9th to 22nd July
2011.
