Floriade 2002 August 2002
The Floriade is a horticultural show, held once every decade in the
Netherlands. In 2002, it was held near Haarlem, a town west of Amsterdam.
The show, open from 6 April until 20 October daily, was split into 3 main
parts: naast de Berg (by the Hill), bij het Dak (near the Roof) and aan het
Meer (on the Lake). This visit was on the 21st August, which was
unfortunately, a cloudy day.
