Aiguille du Midi (3,842m) August 2003

The Aiguille du Midi is situated next to the Mont Blanc (4,810m), providing exceptional views over glaciers, the Vallée Blanche and the Chamonix valley. It is accessed by an ascent in two cable cars from Chamonix, via the Plan de l'Aiguille (2,308m) middle station. This visit was during a stay in Chamonix, on the 9th August 2003.
